Miles was Atiyeh's press secretary and Ruby Lewis was on Atiyeh's clerical staff. This image was taken to commemorate the staff who began working under Atiyeh when he came into office as Governor and stayed with him until he left office. This is one of a set of photographs taken by Gerry Lewin, a photographer for the Salem Statesman Journal.
