Independent truck driver Dave Crandall (right) pours peanuts from an empty gasoline can for Oregon Governor Victor Atiyeh (left) as the Governor meets with some 40 drivers and their families on the Capitol steps. The truckers drove to Salem in a convoy from Portland - in the convoy, there were cars, trucks, and one motorcycle. Crandall told the Governor, as he poured the peanuts, 'We can't run our trucks on peanuts, Governor.'
