Remarks given before the Oregon House of Representatives extending best wishes to new session

A speech by U.S. Congressman Les AuCoin given to the Oregon House of Representatives on February 11, 1985. In his speech, Congressman AuCoin extended his best wishes to the new session of the Oregon House of Representatives. He also discussed the budget crisis occuring at the federal level and his hopes for economic recovery in the state of Oregon. AuCoin served in the Oregon House of Representatives (1971-1975) and in the United States House of Representatives from Oregon's 1st District (1975-1993).
