House floor remarks on flag desecration amendment video recording

A video featuring footage of US House of Representatives floor remarks on an amendment that proposed banning desecration of the US flag in the early 1990s. According to US Congressman Les AuCoin and other representatives, the amendment put the first amendment of the Bill of Rights in jeopardy.

This is a digitized version of an analog videorecording from the Les AuCoin Papers (MS.147) at the Pacific University Archives. AuCoin served in the Oregon House of Representatives (1971-1975) and in the United States House of Representatives from Oregon's 1st District (1975-1993).
