The first half of the clip provided is the KOIN 6 interview featuring both candidates, the second half is the one-on-one KGW 8 interview with AuCoin. Topics discussed in the programs include legislation in Congress, campaign funding, and the federal budget and federal spending, the Hanford Site and nuclear energy, and the Star Wars program.
This is a digitized version of an analog videorecording from the Les AuCoin Papers (MS.147) at the Pacific University Archives. AuCoin served in the Oregon House of Representatives (1971-1975) and in the United States House of Representatives from Oregon's 1st District (1975-1993).
