Henry Hagg Lake road landslides with AuCoin standing on road split in half

A photograph featuring the Henry Hagg Lake road landslides, taken by a staff member of US Congressman Les AuCoin in early 1982. Multiple landslides were discovered on the roads bordering Henry Hagg Lake, including SW Scoggins Valley Road and SW West Shore Drive.

This is one of a collection of digitized objects from the Les AuCoin Papers (MS.147) at the Pacific University Archives. AuCoin served in the Oregon House of Representatives (1971-1975) and in the United States House of Representatives from Oregon's 1st District (1975-1993).
