A transcript of an oral history of Ed Bear and Mrs. Carnes on the current year at Century High School. Mrs. Carnes came to Century High School in 1998 and has taught Integrated Science, Biology, Anatomy/Physiology and Health Services. At the time of the interview, she and Mr. Bear were working to develop curriculum for Health Services CAm. Mr. Bear was on the original planning team and has taught health, science, soccer and track. Both were on the Site Council. Many teachers and seniors were stressed as a result of the cut school days. The two both expressed hope that the Legistlature would rethink Measure 5 after the failure of Measure 28.
