Rev. Horace Lyman,

There was $4.75 collected by me on the way up from Astoria in June, to apply on payment of bill for Year Book, which I purposed to turn over to you, at first opportunity. I put it away in Safe and the matter dipped from my mind until your letter of a day or two since was rec’d. Had I seen you I should have been reminded of it long ago. Hoping that no one has been seriously inconvenienced by my neglect, [?]

Very Truly Yours,

George H. Himes
