Volume 4, issue 1 of The Rural Tribune, which was a local newspaper published by Community Action in the 1970s. This issue includes focuses heavily on the conflict surrounding Cherry Grove and the potential flooding of Patton Valley. The flooding of Patton Valley was going to be Phase II of the Tualatin Project, created by the Tualatin Valley Irrigation District. Phase I was the flooding of Scoggins Valley to form Henry Hagg Lake. Other stories cover child care, Women's Resource Center at Pacific University, Head Start, a restaurant called Maria's, Welfare, and the Virginia Garcia Memorial Clinic.
