Grace Tigard Houghton, granddaughter of Tigard founder, Wilson Tigard, sharing her knowledge of Tigard history with the Kiwanis.

The oral history collection of the Tigard Historical Association contains a rich history of the city of Tigard, Oregon. Stories of local landmarks, schools, farms, and businesses are shared by many of Tigard's longtime inhabitants. The collection also features veterans' oral histories.

The Tigard Historical Association was established in 1978 to move and restore the 1880 John Tigard House and to preserve the cultural and historical legacy of the Tigard, Oregon area.
