Althea Pratt-Broome oral history interview and Sweek House tour

Long-time Tualatin resident Althea Pratt-Broome, owner of the historic Sweek House, shares stories of her home and life in Tualatin.

The Tualatin Historical Society's oral history inventory contains a large collection of veterans' oral histories that were gathered as part of the Veteran's History Project of the American Folklife Center of the Library of Congress. Many of these oral history interviews are on video and some of them were conducted by local high school students. Oral histories of longtime local residents and videos of history performances round out the Tualatin Historical Society's multifaceted collection.
