From front of the photo: College Hall, erected 1850. The oldest building in continues use for educational purposes west of the Rocky Mountains. Tualatin Academy now Pacific University. Here were educated men and women who have won recognition throughout the world in all the learned professions. Placed by Multnomah Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution, May 12, 1939.
