Description
A post card sent to Mrs. Hiram Hatfield,Susan, from Katy at Pacific University. The front of the post card shows Marsh Hall [top], Marsh Hall and Old College Hall [center], and the Academy Building [bottom]. Marsh Hall and Old College Hall are still standing on the Pacific University campus. The Academy Building was destroyed by a fire in 1910.
[back] Mrs. Hiram Hatfield, Silver Deep Aug[?]; 4/15 '09 My dear Susan, I guess you think we have forgotten you but I will write more[?]. Anna Cornelius left to Preiburg and I took her place of Baileys server[?]. Mother is quite well. She went to the society[?] of Mrs. Whitneys yesterday.
