Shorb died at their home May 6, 1891 – Born Maryland Oct 28, 1820 – Married 48 years. Moved from Maryland to Kansas – lived there 47 years. Came in 1865: Came by team across plains. Settled 7½ miles N.W. of Forest Grove, Oregon. Moved to town (Forest Grove) 2 years ago: 8 children 7 survive. She was paralyzed for 6 years: Completely helpless lately. Union Cemetery Thurs. A.M.
