Unidentified group at dinner party
Description
Black and white image of a group, most likely a family group, seated around a dinner table set with China and fine glass ware. The women at the table have short, softly waved hair and several wear dresses with full, short sleeves. Most of the men are wearing suits, with best and ties. One young girl stands at the far end of the table; her hair is cut short around her face. The table sits in what appears to be a dining room, with two closed doors on the far wall behind the group standing there. Floral bouquets have been placed atop a table or buffet to the right side of the image. This image is part of the Herbert E. McMullen bequest. Mr. McMullen, a local photographer, also collected images of daily life in the area from other sources and photographers.
