Kissing the bride
Title
Kissing the bride
Description
Black and white image of a bridal receiving line. A man kisses the bride while the groom looks on. Beyond the groom an elderly couple chats with another man, and a young woman talks with a bridesmaid. The groom wears a suit with a bow tie and a boutonniere, while the bride has a long dress with long sleeves and chiffon overlay and wears a veil. Stained glass windows line the wall behind the group, and the venue is the 'First Christian Church,' most likely in Forest Grove. See WCMpic_014909 for another image of this couple. This image is part of the Herbert E. McMullen bequest. McMullen was a local photographer; he owned Hillsboro Studio and also collected photographs taken in the area by other photographers.
