Description
Black and white image of a bride feeding the groom a piece of the wedding cake. She wears a long white dress with a lace bodice, a sweetheart neckline, and a full skirt; a long, lace-trimmed veil hangs from her floral headpiece. He wears a suit and tie with a rose pinned on his lapel. Her hair is short and curly, while his is cut short and combed up and back away from his face. The cake in front of them is tiered, with an upper section sitting on small pedestals. A bride and groom figurine sit on top of the final tier. This image is part of the Herbert E. McMullen bequest. McMullen was a local photographer; he owned Hillsboro Studio and also collected photographs taken in the area by other photographers.
